Abstract Developing countries with hard pressed economies and a rapidly growing population have myriad of issues to face. Karachi is one the largest cities Pakistan growing. The city has been hit by floods in year 2016, 2018, 2019 2020, recently. Since early 1990s seen rapid spike development process many natural streams built over. This led reduced space for rainwater runoff created problems urban flood managers. To ascertain this, topographic records 1940s 1980s Landsat imagery 2000, 2008, 2015 2020 were used map historical extent. Sentinel—1, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) was extract flooded areas during 2015, 2017, floods. In 64.3 km 2 area which highest. There growth 286% observed between 1980 2000. several water carrying streams, north west it. It found that out 3600 these 870 either blocked or removed 100% core area. DEM difference (DOD) prepared subtracting 1945 from SRTM indicated most embankments along show erosion DOD surface, thus explaining expansion stream channels. Forcing enter areas.

An increasingly important aspect of analyzing the challenges facing cities today is integration nature. Nature-based solutions have potential to successfully cope with adverse effects extensive urbanization and climatic change. On other hand, incorporation smartness in a critical issue. This paper aims analyze steps towards integrating nature-based smart city aspects develop web-based data platform that focuses on tackling investigating role health well-being returns digital twin natural built environment, including health-related key performance indicators. Seven pilot are used as basis for analysis. The architecture green described. interaction citizens ensured through apps games. lays foundation future “phygital” NBS world.

Purpose This study aims to enhance the classification and processing of online appeals by employing a deep-learning-based method. method is designed meet requirements for precise information categorization decision support across various management departments. Design/methodology/approach leverages ALBERT–TextCNN algorithm determine appropriate department managing appeals. ALBERT selected its advanced dynamic word representation capabilities, rooted in multi-layer bidirectional transformer architecture enriched text vector representation. TextCNN integrated facilitate development multi-label models. Findings Comparative experiments demonstrate effectiveness proposed approach significant superiority over traditional methods terms accuracy.
