In the face of escalating environmental challenges, imperative to reduce pollution and carbon emissions has never been more critical. Synergistic effects aimed at mitigating these pressing issues constitute central concern contemporary governance sustainable development in global context. This paper adopts Technology–Organization–Environment (TOE) framework a configurational perspective identify three driving pathways for achieving synergistic reduction emission (SRPCE), using fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) approach: Dual-Wheel Type, Well-Regulated Effective Pull Type. The Type illustrates how combining two strategies can lead enhanced SRPCE. is driven by push factors while pull factors. study clarifies interplay between front-end prevention end-of-pipe treatment protection investments. It also broadens understanding regulation’s impact on corporate highlighting nuanced ways regulations shape organizational behavior. Finally, it advances research focusing micro-enterprises. thus presents comprehensive yields actionable insights, suggesting that government adopt policies enterprises, through self-regulation proactive management, implement practices achieve effective mitigation.

Abstract Green mergers and acquisitions are an important means for heavily polluting enterprises to achieve green transformation. Previous studies have yielded inconsistent conclusions regarding the relationship between level of corporate environmental management, possibly due omission considering quality information disclosure. Therefore, based on a sample 908 observations listed companies A-share market Shanghai Shenzhen from 2010 2019, Utilizing fixed-effects model, this study empirically examines disclosure further explores boundary effects government regulation property rights relationship. The results show that significantly positive impact acquiring firms, positively moderates quality. Abstract In order to better understand the impact of green technology mergers and acquisitions (GTMA) on sustainable development, difference‐in‐differences model is applied investigate direct underlying mechanisms GTMA environment, society, governance (ESG) in China. The twin crises of growing global environmental problems and frequent economic policy uncertainty have received widespread attention. However, the existing literature is limited to impact on corporate protection at macro level remains controversial. Based subjective perception perspective firms, this paper explores performance (EP) role innovation resilience as a mechanism in it, using data from Chinese listed companies between 2007 2018. study finds that positively affects EP, which consistent even after conducting endogeneity robustness tests.
