In 2021, Winter Storm Uri severely affected several Texan agricultural sectors, including dairy production. To understand how producers experienced this extreme weather event, qualitative phenomenological case study explored perceptions of preparedness, coping strategies, and information needs preferences for dealing with events among in Texas, conducting individual semi-structured interviews. The findings indicated that farmers felt unprepared to deal suffered significant economic losses due lack preparedness. response winter storm Uri, modified traditional operations management practices mitigate negative impacts on farm labor, infrastructure, herds. Financial resources play a crucial role in rural revitalization. Understanding the efficiency of financial support is essential for scientific and rational allocation these resources. Therefore, we conducted an assessment over period 2011–2020 utilizing three-stage DEA model Malmquist index to measure revitalization across 30 Chinese provinces (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Tibet) from both static dynamic perspectives. The results indicate following: (1) Despite overall downward trend, increased during specific intervals, namely 2012–2013, 2015–2016, 2018–2019. (2) Regionally, decline particularly notable northeast region. eastern central regions also experienced this trend lesser extent, whereas western region more moderate decrease. However, detailed analysis revealed that 10 gains. (3) Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) regression suggest environmental variables have measurable impact on

Investigations and research on the giant African snail (GAS) mainly focus Achatina fulica. However, in recent years, a more harmful GAS, immaculata, has been reported. In order to understand invasive status of A. immaculata China, we take Shenzhen, coastal city Southern as an example carry out ecological survey field populations two species GAS various districts. We explore differences characteristics snails terms their dietary intake, cold adaptation drought resistance. The results indicate that, based phylogenetic tree analysis, than half sampled exhibit higher similarity immaculata. number wild is significantly greater that fulica, 70.64% 746 are At same time, it also found maximum shell length 135.83 mm, with average 76.00 which different from fulica (56.57 p < 0.01). food intake assay shows there no difference preferences species, but demand (2.32 fold, assay, recovers dormancy state faster (1.92 0.05), speed enters environment slower (0.706 0.05). With large body size, strong resistance resistance, potential be dominant competition niche, become main Shenzhen.
