As of 2023, Bangladesh stands as the seventh most populous nation globally, confronting challenges arising from limited resources and rapid urbanization. The emergence COVID-19 pandemic has led to unprecedented disruptions on a global scale, necessitating detailed examination its effects, particularly within urban environments. This study meticulously scrutinizes repercussions environment, focusing specifically Dhaka City. In this comprehensive exposition, we explore multifaceted impact outbreak, spanning environmental non-environmental aspects like water quality, air municipal waste management, noise pollution. We analyze data across distinct timeframes, employing Indicators, Impact, Strategy (IIS) framework for improvement sustainability. reveals substantial shifts in poised exert profound influence city’s inhabitants overall ecology. Revealing the linkage between interregional coordination and a green economy is crucial to economic resilience high-quality development capabilities. Although local governments in China are increasingly emphasizing environmental policy coordination, academics have not fully investigated whether it can advance development. This research aims quantify from perspectives of actor tool further investigates its effects, particularly when considering mediating role natural resource endowment.
