Green technology has received continuous attention and facing challenges of transformation because the growing environmental concern, especially carbon emissions resulting in global warming. In Industry 4.0 era, green transforms into smart benefits from convergence with digital technologies. However, little research investigates role (GDC) on emission reduction. This study proposes a novel measurement GDC level enterprise based network method examines its pattern dynamic. Moreover, we empirically analyze impact Results show that significant reduction effect. reduces enterprises’ by improving innovation quality. Furthermore, an enterprise’s capability moderates focal relationship. The heterogeneity analysis results reveal effect is stronger large, state-owned, non-labor-intensive heavy-pollution enterprises. findings contribute to better understanding fusion greening digitalization provide useful insights for sustainable development policy-making.

We examine the impact of renewable energy technology innovation on carbon emissions within framework China's 'dual carbon' goal, focusing role local (provincial) government competitions and economic competition. Analyzing data across 30 provinces from 2010 to 2019, we investigate correlation between advancements emission reductions how competition modulates this relationship. Our findings suggest that innovations have a significant negative emissions. The study reveals among governments positively affects reductions, while has impact. These results contribute understanding regulatory can support or impede achievement dual objectives, emphasizing need for competitive yet collaborative environment enhance benefits innovations.
