The energy ecological footprint measures the environmental impact of consumption and is an important indicator for assessing sustainable development. This study introduced concept embodied carbon developed a new accounting model. Spatial Durbin Model was used to analyze spillover effects various factors influencing footprint. quantile regression method applied examine phased each factor on spatio-temporal evolution A nested matrix constructed classify response types transition types. Additionally, governance model regional reduction proposed. results showed that: First, distribution China's 29 provinces not completely random while province had significant spatial correlation characteristics. Moreover, change affected by its neighboring provinces. Second, industrial structure, regulation, urbanization level critical effect Furthermore, will affect in surrounding areas through transmission mechanism factors, there effect. Third, were driving constraint modes process agglomeration province. Quantile can well explain footprint, strong nesting between at different stages These findings serve as basis decision-making help formulate targeted policies, considering "common but differentiated" approach, reduce provincial level.

The level of development the innovation factor plays a crucial role in supporting high-quality sustainable China’s economy. In order to advance regional allocation efficiency along Belt and Road this study introduces super-efficient slacks-based measure (SBM)-data envelopment analysis (DEA)-Malmquist model for static dynamic analyses 17 provinces from 2012 2021. This used Moran index analyze spatial correlation. results show following: (1) overall is not high, there are obvious differences among different regions. eastern region’s highest compared other (2) According decomposition results, pure technical (PTE) main reason low efficiency. (3) Through Malmquist index, it was found that (PECH) scale (SECH) key factors improving (TECH). (4) correlation revealed strong agglomeration feature Road. Innovation mainly manifested third quadrant. Finally, drawing on analysis, suggestions policies put forward improve regions great significance promoting China.

In this study, the household consumption-related ecological footprint of lifestyles linked to panel housing estates and suburban neighbourhoods were compared in case Budapest its suburbs. Our results show that biggest parts are both study areas carbon, cropland forest components, line with earlier calculations. On whole, values bigger area (2.63 gha/capita) (2.29 gha/capita), mainly because differences between carbon uptake built-up land components. Beyond comparing different residential areas, also contributes literature by addressing improvement options respective through a rough model calculation on reduction opportunities cases, resulting 36 percent estates, 47 areas. Although these have be considered cautiously, they significant types supported individual motivations, as well policy measures.

Abstract The increasing contradiction between resource supply and demand has brought ecological security (ES) to the forefront. Research on changes of ES pattern their driving factors is crucial for coordinating regional economic development. Hubei Province in China exhibits uneven distribution resources a fragile environment. In this study, an improved footprint (EF) model was employed analyze Province. And logarithmic mean Divisia index introduced corresponding factors. results showed that (1) from 2000 2020, EF per capita (ef), carrying capacity (ecc), deficit (ED) (ed) increased by 47.11%, 2.71%, 51.72%, respectively. cities province were state ED, spatial ‘high central part low east west’. (2) Each ef type trend. increase mostly came fisheries ef, fossil energy cropland with contribution 76.70%. ecc mainly due freshwater ecc, 274.87%. (3) pressure continued rise been being completely unsafe. efficiency use increased, structure tends be rationalized, but ecological-economic coordination weakened. (4) overall growth driven economic, population factors, while intensity suppresses growth. Therefore, it advised boost investment eco-friendly tech, foster green economy growth, prioritize renewable This study can provide reference basis policy formulation environmental sustainability ecosystem management.
