Green technology innovation is an important driving force for low-carbon development of enterprises. As a market-based environmental policy to promote greenhouse gas emission reduction, whether carbon trading scheme (ETS) can encourage enterprises carry out green under the background “dual carbon” goal deserves further research. Taking Chinese A-share listed in five major sectors as samples, this study constructed modified Difference-in-Differences (DID) model test causal effect ETS on high-carbon industries. Three significant results be summarized from empirical study. Firstly, has promoting And it effectively achieve average 13.24–19.56% increase capabilities. Secondly, with different characteristics have heterogeneity impact implementation innovation. exerts heterogeneous effects across that possess diverse characteristics. Enterprises large capital scale (low equity concentration) more than those small (high concentration). Thirdly, exhibits types In mining, manufacturing, and construction sectors, stimulated certain extent. There been no change sector electricity, heat, gas, water production supply. particular, after ETS, actually weakened transportation sector. such, makers, differentiated policies should implemented based actual situation industries carbon-emitting

The evolution of green industrial policy in China is deeply embedded within a unique political, economic, cultural, and social milieu. intricacies complexities inherent this context present challenges for quantitative research. In the existing literature, study thematic clustering industry instruments their effectiveness measures large-scale text repositories remains relatively unexplored area. To fill research gap, provides an analysis China's policies from 1994 to 2022. By adopting Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic model, implicit optimal themes are identified, key systematically comprehensively parsed. Based on this, cutting-edge Policy Modeling Consistency-Text Encoder (PMC-TE) index model was used conduct in-depth evaluation various tools. findings reveal 15 7891 Chinese documents. Notably, technical support, information resource demonstration project emerged as most frequently deployed efficacious. Conversely, government procurement service outsourcing policies, while showing incremental growth year-on-year, lagged utilization effectiveness. These can be broadly categorized into three primary archetypes: supply-type, demand-type, environment-type. supply-type dominate, environment-type remain underutilized. Additionally, delineates four chronological phases evolution, illuminating strategic pivots-transitioning allocation, market dynamics, ultimately environmental governance trajectories.

To examine the impact mechanisms of urbanization on haze pollution, this study analyzes panel data from 269 prefecture-level cities in China 2007 to 2021. We construct regression models that incorporate technological innovation and human capital accumulation as mediating threshold variables influence pollution. The results reveal an inverted U-shaped relationship between levels which initially increases before subsequently decreasing. During urbanization, pollution is mitigated through accumulation, both serving partial mediators. A dual-threshold effect significantly reduces upon surpassing these thresholds, while exhibits a single-threshold effect; its reducing gradually diminishes. Both eastern western regions have surpassed for whereas central region has exceeded innovation, with trends being consistent across regions. As increase, they contribute reduction. Consequently, paper advocates prioritize talent development, implementing region-specific strategies tailored developmental phases eastern, central, regions, thereby enhancing achieving sustainable development continuously mitigating

Policy synergy, the evidence-based coordination of public policies, can aid in more rapidly achieving air pollutant and carbon dioxide (CO2) emission reduction targets. Using logarithmic mean Divisia index (LMDI) decomposition, coupling degree (CCD), geographically temporally weighted regression (GTWR) models, we analyzed characteristics, drivers, pathways residential pollution across 30 Chinese provinces from 2001 to 2020. The southern produced than northern provinces, with gap widening after 2015. In sector, energy factors (LMDI decomposition result, 686,681.9) population size (14,331) had greater impacts on emissions structure, intensity, synergies, or GDP per capita. GTWR analysis CCD mechanism indicated that hydroelectricity urbanization enhanced southeast. Meanwhile, west, was improved by R&D investment, government spending industrial control, electricity consumption, capita cropland, temperature, urbanization. This provides a valuable reference for optimizing strategies.
