Reducing waste production and improving treatment are key objectives in the EU’s Circular Economy Action Plan. Anaerobic digestion of food is a promising method, but safely disposing its by-products, which contain valuable nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, organic matter, remains challenge. These suggest potential use agriculture to enhance sustainability, yet their effects on plant growth need thorough understanding. This study investigated impact liquid digestates from anaerobic waste, combined with fish sludge (from recirculated aquaculture systems), (Lepidium sativum Triticum aestivum) through direct soil tests. The content biogenic elements did not differ was 0.32% for N, <0.05% P, 0.15% K. Two tests were conducted, both using artificial prepared OECD 207 standards: Phytotoxkit™ test (ISO 18763:2016) pot experiment (OECD 208). Results showed that initially delayed germination hindered early growth, an effect diminished over time. may be due high matter digestates, similar standard fertilizers manure or compost. Pre-incubating before application, common agricultural practices amendments, suggested as solution.
