As people’s material quality of life continues to improve, water resources become subjected varying degrees contamination. one the most commonly utilised agents in treatment, a flocculant exhibits diverse range forms and vast scope applications. However, application flocculants gives rise series issues, including use large doses, formation sludge, difficulty recycling flocculants, other concerns. The development new flocculation technology has crucial step enhancing purification wastewater reducing environmental pollution. Magnetic can be classified into two main categories: magnetic seeds flocculation. This paper presents an overview factors influencing flocculation, type seeds, particle size, pertinent considerations. Furthermore, classification process is discussed. includes types flocculant, namely, inorganic composite organic biological flocculants. Inorganic are inexpensive simple produce; however, their dosage considerable, resulting floc not tightly formed, which impairs efficacy requires smaller strong flocculating ability; it may possess toxic properties potentially cause harm body. high efficiency no pollution, yet subject stringent conditions, displays poor stability, applicable relatively limited treatment scenarios. integration with techniques summarised contexts, prospective research focus direction proposed.

The main influencing factors of fouling in coal gasification black water systems were revealed by analyzing samples, scale and gray samples. In terms quality, the ash is source scale, use high-ash increases tendency fouling. featured low high calcium magnesium ion contents, turbidity, dissolved solids, which easily precipitate crystallize when temperature pressure system change drastically, leading to On this basis, a magnetic flocculant combined with ferric oxide polyacrylamide was prepared. Experiments showed turbidity effectively reduced under certain dosage, removal rate reached 79.89%, but increased adding excessive flocculant.
