In this study, in order to clarify the impact of use domestic timber for wooden chairs on greenhouse gas (hereinafter referred as GHG) emissions from product life cycle, made foreign hardwoods (referred Product A and B) manufactured by two furniture manufacturers Companies Hida-Takayama region Gifu Prefecture, respectively, were evaluated with regard GHG carbon storage, calculated raw material procurement manufacturing. addition, case where origin hardwood was converted overseas Japanese local regional production. As a result, when used 23.12 kg-CO2e 22.23 per leg B, storage 11.20 kg-CO2 16.90 kg-CO2. conversion found reduce about 25% 27% 20% 21% respectively.
