To seek an appropriate stabilization and remediation scheme for cadmium (Cd) arsenic (As) pollution in farmland, a typical polluted soil sample was selected from mining area Southwest China box simulation experiment. Biochar (BC), modified type of biochar made rice husk with different mass ratios ferric chloride husk, set up (the ratio to 1:9 (defined as LFB), 3:7 MFB), 5:5 HFB) the control group (BL)) explore effects water fertilizer loss, bioavailability Cd As, bioenrichment plant organs during growth period rice. The results showed that porous structure large specific surface effectively regulated aggregate composition improved holding capacity. Compared BL treatment, storage under four carbon-based material modes increased 8.98% 14.52%. has strong ion exchangeability can absorb ammonium, nitrogen, phosphoric acid groups, inhibiting loss fertilizer. improves pH reduces gravity exchangeable Cd. In addition, oxygen-containing functional groups react metals complex manner. diethylenetriaminepentaacetic (DTPA) concentrations soils treated BC, LFB, MFB, HFB were 79.69%, 72.92%, 64.58%, 69.27% lower, respectively, than those BL. contrast, Fe3+ combines As after hydrolysis oxidation form amorphous arsenate precipitates or insoluble secondary minerals. Therefore, curing effect on more potent applied alone. conclusion, chloride-modified inhibit farmland realize cross-medium long-term inhibition combined pollution.

The Bayan Obo mining areas of northern China's arid regions is prone to wind erosion and strong freeze-thaw effects. Freezing-thawing leads the degradation soil structure diminishes its resistance erosion. Cyanobacteria crusts can inhibit erosion, but their biomass decreases under conditions. There limited research on whether combining biochar with cyanobacteria alleviate impact resistance. Therefore, indoor simulated tunnel tests were used systematically investigate crust combination action. Results showed that cycles altered layer physicochemical properties. Pearson correlation coefficient revealed frequency exhibited a significant negative pH (p < 0.01), bulk density clay percentage > 0.25 mm aggregate content 0.05). sensitivity was highest, variation 27%. test combined use most efficient reduction, reduction rate peaked at speed 15 m/s, reaching an impressive 64.73%. This primarily attributed high stability percentage. above results indicate incorporation has great potential as control strategy in seasonal zones.

With its advantages of high cross-sectional utilization, shallow depth, and uninterrupted surface road traffic, the pipe jacking method has been widely used in underground passages, metro stations, other projects. However, this leads to a large volume pipe-jacking waste soils that need be processed. Pipe-jacking are different from shield-tunneling soils. Therefore, it is not appropriate simply use same treatment for treating In study, soil samples were improved with 7% polyacrylamide (PAM) 12% sodium-based bentonite solutions, good performance achieved. Based on this, quick lime fly ash solidification soils, experiments solution concentrations material additions conducted, involving tests compression, freeze-thaw cycling, wet-dry microstructures. The results indicate within ranges PAM addition ratios applied effects will significantly reduced during improvement processes under balanced earth pressure conditions. Instead, was found there an increase up 16% strength Structural compactness can primarily enhanced by gelatinous PAM, while bentonites promote formation hydrated colloids (like C-S-H) fill pores particles, thereby enhancing stability.
