The Gulf of Mannar, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, faces severe overfishing and habitat degradation threats. In this study, we investigate the pivotal role ecosystem services in sustaining local livelihoods overall well-being. By conducting comprehensive survey 480 respondents across two districts, gathered extensive data on demographics, livelihoods, fishing practices, reliance services, community management participation. analysis reveals critical dependence Gulf’s resources (income, food security, traditions) with gender disparities (men fish, women pre-/post-harvest). Still, is only allowed 10 km buffer zone (not core zone). findings emphasize promise community-based strategies, such as Marine Protected Areas reviving co-management committees, for achieving sustainable fisheries management. However, also identify gaps, including need more nuanced well-being indicators improved models To address these challenges, advocate tackling social inequities, especially resource access decision-making, investing communities’ healthcare, education, safety nets. Promoting alternative can alleviate pressure fish stocks, empowering communities through capacity building initiatives crucial ensuring long-term sustainability Mannar its dependent communities. This multifaceted approach holds significant balancing ecological health human prosperity.

This study presents a case focused on sustainable farming practices, specifically the cultivation of tilapia (Mozambican and aureus species) in ponds with geothermal water. research aims to optimize hydrochemical regime experimental enhance growth metrics external characteristics breeders. The dataset encompasses parameters fish feeding base from where were cultivated. Genetic algorithms (GA) employed for hyperparameter optimization (HPO) deep neural networks (DNN) prediction productivity each pond under varying conditions, achieving an R2 score 0.94. GA-driven HPO process is robust method optimizing aquaculture practices by accurately predicting how different conditions feed bases influence tilapia. By determining these factors, model promotes improving breeding outcomes maximizing aquaculture. approach can also be applied other systems, enhancing efficiency sustainability across various species.

Abstract Blockchain networks continue to gain attraction in cutting‐edge applications and mining within these has become increasingly popular. To get rewards, miners solve cryptographic puzzles add new blocks blockchain using the proof‐of‐work (PoW) consensus mechanism. Numerous opt participate pools due challenges of solo mining. However, selecting reputed for pool poses a significant challenge, given decentralized nature system. This paper addresses this challenge by introducing ranking model that evaluates miners' performance reputation through trust scores. It provides method optimizing identifying highly pools, enhancing overall profitability. endeavor necessitates development algorithms tailored unique dynamics pools. The research offers meticulously designed identifies miners. We extensively evaluate proposed hyperledger framework, guaranteeing strong across vital metrics like block authorization time, Processing creation validation confirmation time.
