In this paper, we examine the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in sovereignty and carbon neutrality, emphasizing digital inclusion climate-resilient AI strategies for emerging markets. Considering previous studies on neutrality climate research along with technology policy frameworks as a guide, paper undertakes Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) outcomes. At same time, fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) is used to reveal different configurations leading achieving resilience. The model covers various aspects AI-enabled policy, including adoption, frameworks, literacy, public engagement. Survey data were collected from key stakeholders sectors, local communities using structured survey understand their attitudes towards negative emissions technologies prominent experts countries like Vietnam, Italy, Malaysia, Greece. PLS-SEM results importance developing critical strategic dimension (Data analytics capability support). Some fsQCA findings present heterogeneous outcomes, highlighting complex combinations inclusion, resilience which are industry-specific. This study would further enrich literature concerning by exploring AI, interactions. Theoretically, practical enriching suggestions future derived help infuse sustainable actions.

Purpose The development of zero-carbon buildings (ZCBs) is beneficial to the society and biodiversity. Despite benefits ZCBs, there are challenges limiting its in construction industry. current study seeks examine technology-related factors affecting ZCB Lagos Nigeria. Design/methodology/approach designed a questionnaire achieve main objective. Data were collected using non-probability snowballing sampling methods. Questionnaires distributed, 272 valid responses collected. Thereafter, data analysed mean value, percentage, frequency distribution, normality test, Kruskal Wallis test Kendall’s coefficient concordance. Findings results from analysis showed that, “less technical expertise new technological advancements”, “research outcomes not translated effectively into technology innovations”, “high cost maintenance on ZCB”, “poor knowledge renewable technologies” “industry’s ability embrace technologies (policy initiatives industry practices)” topmost five hindering ZCBs Lagos, Also, show statistically significant degree agreement between various groups organisations Nigeria concerning ZCBs. Originality/value contributed more effective studies by drawing attention An understanding these can help stakeholders, organisations, policymakers governments devising strategies targeted at minimising fostering sector. identified barriers guide interventions policy adjustments, promoting implementation serving as model for addressing similar other developing countries. As China strives for carbon neutrality, the transition to digital energy systems presents both significant opportunities and formidable challenges. This study investigates key barriers hindering this urgent need effective strategies address them, raising critical research question: What are main obstacles adoption in China, how can these challenges be overcome? In study, fuzzy AHP method has been utilized prioritize WASPAS evaluate strategies. Using AHP, we found that stakeholder governance most critical, emphasizing issues like misalignment among stakeholders Following this, financial constraints technological limitations emerged as other barriers, highlighting improved financing mechanisms robust infrastructure. Through analysis, top identified enhancing public awareness capacity-building programs, strengthening anti-corruption measures, increasing investment green finance. The results emphasize importance of tackling alongside advancements. ABSTRACT The importance of attaining carbon neutrality (CN) has progressively increased in addressing climate change, and consequently, capture, utilization, storage (CCUS) emerged as a promising tool this pursuit. Nevertheless, dearth scholarly discourse exists about the factors that drive implementation CCUS context corporate CN challenges inhibit adoption for CN. This study aims to bridge knowledge gap by analyzing open‐ended essays gain cardinal insights into experiences perspectives companies successfully implementing collected (qualitative) data underwent rigorous analysis synthesize three distinct dimensions encompassing various aspects achieve identifies multiple components employed manage emissions effectively. It underscores five drivers accelerating classifies them intrinsic or extrinsic drivers. Various impeding successful have been pinpointed emanating from financial, human resource, operational, technological, strategic challenges; technology development infrastructural challenges, environmental impacts; social regulatory challenges. Our research renders valuable theoretical practical based on prevalent regarding field with comprehensive inclusive approach.
