Abstract Glass is one of the building materials that will be a problem to environment when disposed after use because It cannot decomposed like organic waste. However, glass waste can recycled or reused as component new products. This research aims determine how people respond in bead form mixed an interior surface material component. Experiments combine several types beads embedded polyester resin. Participants who are concise designers and users invited give their opinions about materials. The employs Material-Driven Design (MDD) method, design approach focuses on unique properties guide process. results processed samples were explored identify sensory, interpretative, affective responses. test found there tendencies have sensory response strong material. Emotionally, applied with violet color surrounding drew attention stimulated feelings fascination curiosity. created recommended for commercial modern facilities such cafes restaurants.

This study ranks and discusses the 7 dimensions of circular economy in context Industry 5.0 proposed by Payer et al. (2024): Energy Circularity, Circularity Inputs, Investments circularity, Establishment new businesses, Circular non-circular supply chain integration, product components, Compliance governance for circularity. The Hierarchical ordering (ranking) between these is done using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method based on opinion experts consulted (one expert each dimension). These also discussed main issues evidence within dimensions. Organizations that aim to move towards often need prioritize efforts start treating some aspects, so this ranking can be a proposal which prioritized scenario

Glass in mixed municipal solid waste (MSW) is often lost for recycling. recovery from incineration bottom ash (IBA) after MSW (MSWI) technically feasible by sensor-based sorting, but rarely applied. Especially IBAs fluidized bed combustion contain high recoverable glass amounts, upgrading this required recycling the packaging industry. This study examines different setups based on sorting to improve quality two Austrian IBAs. Sensor-based removed extraneous material like ceramic, stones, porcelain, metals, and lead glass. The fractions produced were characterized manual X-ray fluorescence analysis. before contained 85–89% glass, of which 67% 83% could be recovered four steps. Previous sieving caused losses therefore not recommended. By contents lowered 13% 9% below 2.2%. Four-step even ensure <0.11% Pb <200 mg/kg. Although limit values still exceeded, shows that suggests a novel opportunity enhance closed-loop recycling, thereby reducing amount landfilled

This study investigates the use of waste glass as an active aggregate in polymers based on water glass, aiming to enhance sustainability construction materials by utilizing recyclable waste. Methodologically, research employs a combination binder with analyzing their chemical interaction and resulting mechanical properties. The primary findings reveal that inclusion finely ground not only promotes polycondensation hardening processes but also significantly influences adhesive cohesive strengths developed polymers. After 7 days hardening, tensile strength these exceeds standard concrete values reaching up 4.11 MPa, indicating strong adhesion capabilities could pull out fragments substrate. Conclusively, underscores potential improving structural economic efficiencies building materials, contributing reduction landfill offering promising avenue for innovative construction.
