Abstract Enhancing the ferroelectric polarization field and tuning electron spin as novel approaches to improve photocatalytic performance have sparked considerable research interest. Obviously, a straightforward strategy simultaneously regulate will very attractive application prospect. In this study, series of Bi 4 NbO 8 Cl‐Ni photocatalysts are synthesized by doping different concentrations magnetic element Ni into semiconductor Cl. Due significant difference in atomic radius, induces greater structural distortion enhances deviation positive negative charge centers crystal, thereby resulting stronger field. Moreover, is induced electrons, photogenerated carriers exhibit higher spatial separation efficiency under Thanks synchronous regulation doping, average rates H 2 O production from water splitting over visible light 342.6 207.1 µmol g −1 h , respectively, which 10.6 2.7 times those pure Notably, an applied 300 mT, further promoted up 616.7 331.4 . This study offers significantly performance.
