Traditional make-use-dispose operations are no longer an option in the manufacturing sector – companies face mounting sustainability pressures and incentives to move towards circular economy (CE) operations. Accordingly, they must implement new technologies maintain competitiveness transition. One potential tool navigating change is digital twin (DT). Previous research on DTs has largely focused technological prerequisites, devoting less attention their business aspects. To fill gap, this qualitative provides overview of examines how can promote environmentally sustainable circularity. The results indicate that external pressures, such as stakeholder expectations, competition, ongoing megatrends, regulations, push better sustainability, accompanied by employee expectations internal willingness. also reveal a vast for with CE, especially product design, use, operation at decommissioning renewal stages.

Volumetric additive manufacturing (VAM) is revolutionizing the field of cell printing by enabling rapid creation complex three-dimensional cellular structures that mimic natural tissues. This paper explores advantages and limitations various VAM techniques, such as holographic lithography, digital light processing, volumetric projection, while addressing their suitability across diverse industrial applications. Despite significant potential VAM, challenges related to regulatory compliance scalability persist, particularly in context bioprinted In India, lack clear guidelines intellectual property protections poses additional hurdles for companies seeking navigate evolving landscape bioprinting. study emphasizes importance collaboration among industry stakeholders, agencies, academic institutions establish tailored frameworks promote innovation ensuring safety efficacy. By bridging gap between technological advancement oversight, can unlock new opportunities regenerative medicine tissue engineering, transforming patient care therapeutic outcomes.

Purpose On-site industrialized construction (OIC) represents a significant innovation direction for the industrial transformation of industry. However, compared to prefabricated (PC) technology, OIC technology has not received sufficient attention. In particular, lack mechanisms adoption significantly hindered and diffusion this technology. This paper aims address gap by identifying drivers barriers exploring logical relationships among these influencing factors. Design/methodology/approach Therefore, study analyze factors adoption, focusing on both barriers, promote its companies. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) is employed validate significance factors, while interpretive (ISM) utilized explore interrelationships supported PLS-SEM. Findings The results PLS-SEM show that relative advantage, regulatory support, top management organizational readiness market demand positively influence intention, perceived risk, complexity cost have negative impact. Additionally, root driver identified ISM analysis labor shortage, barrier comprehension presents challenges. It noteworthy derived from demand, but low path coefficient in indicates limited direct effects. suggests influences intention driving other mediating which still require Originality/value elucidates supplementing knowledge base domains (IC) engineering technological innovation. it offers valuable insights companies actively engaged industrialization reform, facilitating effective promotion
