Locating prospective groundwater recharge zones is essential for managing and planning resources. Therefore, spatial modeling of distribution a significant undertaking that would aid groundwater’s subsequent conservation management. The current study employs geographic information systems (GIS) analytical hierarchy process (AHP) based on multi-criteria analysis to identify potential (GPZ). AHP technique was utilized analyze generate the geo-environmental factor parameters, which included drainage density, lineament precipitation, slope, soil texture, land use/land cover, level, geology. Each weighted according its characteristics effects water in this process. Finally, overlay method applied GIS environment gather variables locate map GPZ. proposed GPZ divided into four different zones: poor, moderate, high, very high. Consequently, results, 38% basin has high potential, 19% 39% moderate 4% poor from regions. study’s conclusions can be used sustain resources by identifying areas with potential.

The Gannan region is situated in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China, and has a complicated geological background. Seasonal droughts significantly jeopardize the water security of local population. Groundwater essential to alleviate region’s needs. In this research, groundwater potential (GWP) was assessed using Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP). recharge rainfall estimated by SWAT model exhibited notable inconsistencies regarding their spatial distribution. Eight assessment factors (lithology, fault density, land use, slope, convergence index, drainage rainfall, recharge) were constructed integrating remote sensing, geological, output data. Two GWP maps an overlay analysis based on obtained weights AHP, with assigned same weight calculate other six separately. Each map split into five classes: excellent, good, moderate, poor, very poor. Data from 23 wells 42 springs collected validate two correlation between flow rates springs. result indicates that calculated (R2 = 0.8 0.74, respectively) more accurate than 0.21 0.48, can provide theoretical basis for management exploration area.

Evidence suggests city grouping is an important way to implement urbanization in China. However, the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle (CCEC) a typical dual-core structure, and development level of each different. If we do not focus on key directions for urban development, it will be conducive new-type process. Therefore, use spatial analysis techniques geographic big data sets construct approach system layout optimization from global perspective. It mainly includes extended trend based night light, multi-modal traffic network analysis, economic density using Open Street Map (OSM) Point Interest (POI) data. The research results show following interesting findings. Firstly, historical relationship cities has significant impact grouping, efficient transportation connections prosperous enterprise distribution are conditions during acceleration period urbanization. Secondly, should break through administrative restrictions achieve moderate separation divisions divisions. beneficial rapid growth group improvement internal structure. Thirdly, Southern Sichuan Western Chongqing (SSWC) region with most potential CCEC. expansion index (UEI) Yibin-Luzhou area 2.16, increased by 130/km 2 past decade. Providing flexible authority construction Urban Belt along Yangtze River integrate southern Sichuan. Moreover, found UEI good universality can used studying trends relationships rapidly developing regions, especially metropolitan areas or agglomeration.
