This study closely analyzes the water quality dynamics of Teceu Lake, situated in a Natura 2000 protected area Romania. The research investigates seasonal variations and interconnections with groundwater, assessing various ecological impacts. main physico-chemical indicators water, such as electrical conductivity (EC), dissolved oxygen (DO), saturation (OS), temperature, pH, turbidity, ammonium concentration (NH4+), nitrates (NO3−), nitrites (NO2−), orthophosphates (PO43−), hardness, alkalinity (A), chlorides (Cl−), were measured over January–December 2022 period. Metal concentrations for both major metals (Na, K, Ca, Mg, Al) trace (Li, Ga, Fe, Mn, Pb, Cu, Zn, Ni, Ti, Mo, Sr, Ba) assessed. evolution revealed an increase nutrient compounds (ammonium phosphates) during spring autumn months. EC values ranged from 180–444 μS/cm lake 1575–2480 groundwater. pH (7.12–7.96) indicated slightly alkaline environment. DO levels (6.79–11.21 mg/L) good quality. Chlorides exceeded drinking some instances. Water hardness varied due to atmospheric pressure. composition diverse aluminum, barium, nickel, copper, zinc, manganese, which carries implications environmental human health. index (WQI) score, is based on ions, that 93% groundwater samples classified excellent drinking. WQI, indicators, 79.17% Lake-water 41.66% gathered quality; difference poor quality, especially autumn. Q- R-mode cluster analyses distinct clusters months sampling points, suggesting shared sources geological influences. Notable connections between metal content identified, emphasizing need tailored conservation strategy. Correlation highlighted positive negative relationships pairs. Understanding these parameters vital resource management preserving biodiversity region. results this are important monitoring pollution Lake might prompt local communities authorities take measures reduce prevent pollution.

Purpose. Provide an assessment of the quality massif surface waters Siverskyi Donets River within Kharkiv region in 2023 based on determination water indices. Methods. The methods modified pollution index (WPI) and combinatorial (CWPI). Results. State river at observation point v. Pechenigy according to method WPIF is estimated as II class characterized "clean", WPIH - I class, "very clean"; CWPIF III a, "dirty", CWPIH I, "slightly polluted". Eschar "moderately polluted", "clean"; b, II, "polluted". v/ Zadonetskyi pollution, Conclusions. It was determined that there are changes along watercourse Region 2023. There a deterioration after confluence Uda River, by 1.69 times magnitude change, then state improves 1.25 changes, probably due self-cleaning processes lower anthropogenic load. WPI indicators varies from 0.25 1.47 (from clean" polluted"). CWPI 1.0 3.83 polluted" "dirty"). established both standards, reservoir, p. Pechenegs best, worst below mouth village Eschar.
