Air pollution, microclimate around bridge, time wetness, structural solution position orientation surface within bridge structure all influence layers on steel. condition formed patina relies working conditions structure. In fact, it is exposed to various types salts that appear during operation facility. this article, strength parameters uncoated steel were tested after accelerated aging welded samples in salt spray chamber. tests showed expected degradation long-term exposure changes such as tensile strength, yield and, importantly, impact both itself elements connection. obtained results change influenced made (welding method) direction joint (along or across rolling direction).

Modern bridge construction towards a higher degree of low carbonization and assembly has been the general trend, while developing broadening low-carbon assembled-oriented Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) technology can better realize trade-offs between quality, efficiency, cost sustainability. In current mainstream ABC technologies such as precast-assembled concrete assembled steel schemes, it is difficult to achieve an excellent balance above multicriterion trade-offs. To this end, paper proposes novel composite scheme innovative case based on 26.7 km-length urban viaduct project in China with urgent environmental protection demands. sustainability, comprehensive economy performance are well balanced by collaborative application new steel–concrete structures, rapid interface design material technologies. The proposed applied completed real-scale bridge, whole process only experienced 105 days effective time, accompanied slight interference noise small amount labor equipment input. addition, safety rationality concept calculation method have verified static dynamic loading tests bridge.

The hot compression tests ( T = 850–1100 °C, 0.1–10 s −1 ) of Cu–Cr–Ni bridge weathering steel with different Cr content (0.46% (#1), 0.64% (#2)) were performed on Gleeble‐3800‐D thermomechanical simulator. effects deformation and microstructure evolution are systematically investigated by the Arrhenius constitutive equation, processing map, electron backscatter diffraction technology, transmission microscope. In results, it is demonstrated that increase from 0.46% to enhances solution strengthening inhibits dynamic recrystallization experimental steels during compression, resulting in flow stress. equation strain compensation constructed. results an augmentation activation energy, rising Q #1 358.47 kJ mol #2 396.79 , causing resistance compression. optimal window as follows: 0.1–0.2 1050–1100 0.1–0.15 leads narrowing steels.
