This study compared the accuracy of seven intraoral scanners (IOS) by virtual-fit method. Four maxillary arches with tooth abutments were scanned an industrial reference scanner (n=1) and Aoralscan3, EmeraldS, Helios600, Lumina, Mediti700, Primescan, Trios5 IOSs (each n=12). Two complete-arch fixed frameworks designed on each IOS scan a 70 µm (group 70) 90 internal cement space 70+20, additional 20 at margin). The method was comprised superimposing framework designs onto using non-penetrating algorithm simulating clinical try-in. Internal marginal gaps measured. Precision estimated mean absolute errors (MAE). In group 70, Mediti700 (43 µm), Primescan (42 EmeraldS in best homogenous subset for gap, followed Lumina (67 Aoralscan3 (70 whereas Helios600 (118 µm) third subset. Based MAE margin, Trios5, first-best subset, Primescan. fourth gap significantly decreased Aoralscan3. rank similar gap. meet fit criteria tooth-borne complete arch restorations. Increasing during design could enhance restoration fit. alignment can effectively evaluate different scanners, offering valuable guidance distinguishing among them. Recent software hardware versions long-standing manufacturers are suitable fabricating restoration.

ABSTRACT Objectives This study evaluated the image quality of smartglass‐supported Dynamic Computer‐Assisted Implant Surgery (dCAIS) by testing discernibility with a Landolt ring chart reproduced smartglasses and on dCAIS monitor. Materials Methods 15 participants’ was measured under four conditions using rings. Each condition 13 visual acuity levels, each level comprising three rings (39 per condition). Under Condition 1 (control), were monitor viewed without smartglasses; 2, through 3, matched size monitor; 4, filled field view. Visual values converted to logarithmic analyzed repeated measures ANOVA. Conclusions Smartglasses enhance functionality reproducing information at maximum perceived achievable has similar effect enhancement magnification.
