Abstract The utilization of lignocellulosic biomass for the generation diverse value‐added biochemicals and biofuels is crucial in modern biorefineries bioenergy initiatives, contributing significantly to pursuit a climate‐neutral future. Agricultural, forest industrial sources serve as exceptionally renewable precursors biorefinery processes. In spite its abundance, effective breakdown poses significant challenge. Thus, it essential integrate various unit processes, including biochemical, thermochemical, physical, enzymatic catalytic conversion, generate wide array bio‐based products. Intensive integration these processes not only enhances yield reduces reaction time but also proves be economically efficient. Furthermore, process approaches may contribute establishment circular bioeconomy through biorefineries, effectively reducing both bioresource waste greenhouse gas emissions. This review offers fundamental insights into chemistry, with detailed discussion on conversion systems. It explores how integrating can facilitate transition toward economy. Additionally, summarizes challenges prospects associated advancing integrated economy principles achieve complete valorization.
