As a sort of industrial solid waste, semidry flue gas desulfurization ash (SFGDA) exhibits notable attributes such as elevated calcium and alkali content, which facilitate the mineralization CO2 gas. Herein, novel approach is employed to effectively fix using SFGDA via combination direct indirect processes. During stage, reacts with ions in slurry, resulting reduction ions' concentration dissolution sparingly soluble salt. Subsequently, moderate quantity ammonia solution introduced into slurry. More are generated large low-concentration CO2. Results demonstrate that at 40 °C, 300 rpm, 10% CO2, 0.78 mol/L solution, efficiency maintains an amazing 216 kg per ton SFGDA. This provides alternative candidate for industrialized treatment

This study investigates methods to enhance the efficiency of CO2 capture using organic amine absorption and compares performance traditional novel solvents. It reviews various single-component mixed absorbents, as well catalysts used in these methods, highlighting superiority absorbents over desorption. Additionally, explores catalytic mechanisms effects absorption/desorption process with solvents provides an outlook on future research directions. The aim is promote widespread adoption technology industrial applications contribute development more sustainable efficient technologies.
