The removal of toxic and persistent organic pollutants is one the major engineering challenges for water treatment. Development Fenton-based advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) has shown promising results over remediation control. present critical review presents a benchmark framework understanding on recent advances such AOPs based abatement phenol as model pollutant, considering articles published in period 2019–2023.
