Experimental investigations of the effectiveness pretreatment acid leaching process a representative sample electric arc furnace dust (EAF dust) and characterization were performed. As EAF is globally defined as hazardous solid industrial waste, it contains high percentage zinc other useful components, in this paper, application will be carried out order to increase efficiency further leaching, all with aim using secondary raw material for metal valorization. Under following optimal conditions: time—30 min, ratio liquid phase—1:10, temperature—ambient, stirring speed—500 rpm, reduction content water-soluble components was achieved, namely, 83% Cl, 92% K, 74% Na, 14% Cd, 15% Ca, 19% F. enables significantly better filtration suspension increases sulfuric solution, compared direct dust.

Decarbonizing the iron and steelmaking industry is critical for China to pursue net-zero emissions target advance sustainable industrialization (SDG 9). This paper addresses urgent need decarbonization strategies in this sector, aiming align with China’s carbon neutrality goals by 2060. By reviewing current technological advancements potential pathways deep decarbonization, including process optimization, hydrogen-based direct reduction, capture, utilization, storage (CCUS), these technologies are categorized into six strategic approaches: systemic energy efficiency improvement, resource recycling, optimization innovation, breakthrough smelting, product iterative upgrading, CCUS. These also SDG 13 (climate action) reducing greenhouse gas 7 (affordable clean energy) through promotion of technologies. evaluated their emission reduction maturity. Abstract ZnO films were obtained by electrodeposition technique from commercial Zn 2+ solutions and those spent alkaline batteries.
