In this work, vanadate-fluorapatite, V 2 O 5 /Ca 10 (PO 4 ) 6 F , nanocrystals were successfully synthesized through a straightforward one-step co-precipitation method. This method was based on two toxic solid wastes, which are mainly generated as by-products during sulfuric acid manufacturing and in the phosphate industry. The wastes phosphogypsum source of calcium vanadium pentoxide vanadate. comparison to numerous conventional methods for FAP synthesis, innovative is not laborious, complex, cost-effective, environmentally friendly, thanks recovery wastes. Furthermore, it consists mixing various contents anhydrous gypsum with phosphoric acid, pentoxide, ammonium fluoride at one time room temperature no further adjustment pH. Several physicochemical characterization techniques used, including X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-vis). Whereas SEM analysis crystals obtained showed nanometer-scale fluorapatite crystallites obtained. results offer exciting potential applying prepared nanomaterial both photocatalysis pollution removal. They hold great promise expected generate significant interest these fields.
