The Sb2WO6 photocatalyst is synthesized by introducing oxygen vacancies through acetylene annealing. number of can be adjusted varying the annealing duration. Oxygen vacancy defects in change surface chemical properties, enhance separation carriers, broaden absorption visible light, and activate catalytic sites, resulting overall enhancement photocatalytic properties. significance pertinent mechanisms oxidation are described. Our results reveal a promising method to improve properties Sb2WO6-based materials for applications such as treatment wastewater.
