In recent years, cadmium (Cd) contamination in agricultural soil has emerged as a significant global environmental issue, posing irreversible harm to crops and human health. As result, efficient remediation techniques are urgently needed. For this synergistic by material plant is an effective approach. study, natural green adsorption (starch/montmorillonite composite, SMC) of Cd was prepared, which further employed toward with the hyperaccumulator Bidens bipinnata. The results pot experiment demonstrated that available removal rate 77.92 could be obtained, field experiments demonstrate concentrations contaminated reduced below risk-screening values for land. Further analyses, including microbial community diversity changes BCR fraction components, TCLP toxicity leaching experiment, unequivocally elucidated synergy SMC bipinnata enhanced efficiency soil. This study confirmed application potential Cd-contaminated
