Due to the global water crisis, reclamation has been at heart of consideration by scientific communities in recent years. The main objective this study was synthesis a green and sustainable photocatalyst from waste, specifically polyethylene terephthalate plastic bottles, for efficient removal methylene blue (MB). characterization novel MWCNT@g-C₃N₄@Ag carried out using FESEM, EDS-MAP, Raman, XRD, DLS analysis. optimization approach, based on Response Surface Methodology (RSM), demonstrated that pH initial concentration were primary factors improving MB degradation. Also, increasing dosage reaction time appropriate wastewater treatment. Furthermore, predicted values showed strong agreement with experimental results, R2 = 0.95, Adj-R2 0.93, p-value less than 0.0001. optimized found be 12.6 mg L− 1, 9, 0.52 g 231 min, achieving efficiency 99.89%. MWCNTs@g-C3N4@Ag superior photocatalytic performance compared as-prepared multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). Consequently, can recommended as promising degradation due its environmental friendliness, low-cost precursors, excellent purification performance.
