The aim of this study was to evaluate the removal Pb and As from an aqueous solution using corn residue cellulose nanocrystals (NCCs). husk subjected alkaline digestion, followed by bleaching esterification with 3% citric acid obtain NCCs. A 10 ppm multimetal prepared. adsorption process evaluated adjusting pH NCC dosage, optimized through nonlinear regression empirical mathematical models. Based on optimal parameters, kinetics were PFO PSO NCCs displayed nanometer-level characteristics a particle size less than 383.7 nm, ζ potential in range −28–70 mV, pHZCP acidic tendency, porous crystal structure as SEM images, presence functional groups high chelating capacity, identified via FTIR. Optimum values 8.0 20 mg/L dose found, which it observed that PFO, PSO, Elovich showed R2 > 0.974, capacity order As. adsorbent-formulated presented good remove heavy metals media.
