Photocatalysis, mainly using TiO2 as a catalyst, has emerged promising method to address the issue of wastewater treatment. This study explores enhanced photocatalytic activity through introduction reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and cadmium sulfide (CdS) selective metal dopants. The incorporation rGO CdS into lattice aims optimize its properties, including bandgap engineering, charge carrier separation, surface reactivity. unique combination with is expected boost degradation efficiency reduce reliance on expensive potentially harmful sensitizers. experimental investigation involves synthesis characterization TiO2-based photocatalysts. methyl orange (MO) methylene blue (MB) was assessed under controlled laboratory conditions, studying influence dopants kinetics efficiency. Furthermore, synthesized photocatalyst characterized by advanced techniques, BET, SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS analyses. degraded samples were analyzed UV-Vis spectroscopy. Insights photoexcitation transfer processes shed light role in enhancing performance. results demonstrate potential TiO2-rGO-CdS-based which 100% achieved within four hours for MO six MB, confirming efficient azo dye degradation. findings contribute understanding fundamental principles underlying process provide valuable guidance designing optimizing systems. Ultimately, this research contributes development sustainable effective technologies removing dyes from various wastewaters, promoting environmental preservation human well-being.
