Abstract A high-efficiency photocathode for green hydrogen generation from sanitation water without the use of a sacrificial agent has been fabricated using bismuthyl chloride/poly- o -chlorobenzeneamine (BiOCl/P O CBA) core–shell nanocomposite with inclusion additional bismuth oxide (Bi 2 3 ) material. This combination results in highly promising composite excellent optical properties. The nanocrystalline size is evaluated at 15 nm. exhibits strong photon absorbance across most spectrum and features bandgap 2.1 eV. application BiOCl/P CBA gas was tested three-electrode cell immersed water, which acts as self-sacrificing agent. study conducted under various light conditions, produced photocurrent measured 0.016 mA cm −2 . sensitivity this by testing current density ( J ph different energies ranging 2.3 to 3.6 varied significantly these energies, −0.024 −0.019 , respectively. When energy decreased 1.7 eV, reduced −0.018 Given its great stability, potential mass production, eco-friendly nature, candidate industrial-scale production renewable water.

This study explores the use of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) and zinc oxide (ZnO NPs), either singly or in combination, for nanoremediation aquaculture wastewater. Aquaculture wastewater was treated with varying doses Ag NPs ZnO across following six groups: Group 1 (0.05 mg NPs/L), 2 (1 3 NPs/L + 4 (0.025 0.5 5 (0.1 a control group. Water quality, microbial loads nanomaterial concentrations were assessed over ten days. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) showed average particle sizes 102.5 nm 110.27 NPs. The removal efficiencies NH4-N 98% treatment groups. In addition, COD 33.33%, 68.82%, 49.59%, 61.49%, 37.65%. log-reductions aerobic plate counts nanoparticle-treated 1.191, 1.947, 1.133, 1.071, 0.087, compared to reduction 0.911 untreated Silver ranged from 0.0079 0.0192 mg/L, while 0.3040 0.9740 indicating that ZnO-NPs represent sustainable method

ZnO nanoparticles were produced using Morinda citrifolia fruit extract and evaluated for their performance in the removal of Congo red (CR) dye under visible light, as well antibacterial activity against different pathogenic strains. The photocatalyst was characterized according to crystallinity, surface elements morphology. Various factors related photocatalytic activity, namely contact time, dosage, initial CR concentration, pH, investigated. Under optimal conditions, a moderate loading achieved high degradation efficiency 95.23% within 60 min light irradiation, determined response methodology (RSM) coupled with face-centered design (CCF). Additionally, scavenger study confirmed that superoxide radicals (˙O2 -) holes (h+) major reactive species photodegradation CR. Furthermore, remarkable, highest inhibition zone measuring 20.7 mm Salmonella typhimurium. This provides promising approach developing highly efficient photocatalysts strong adsorption capabilities whilst also broadening application agents.
