Acetone gas sensitivity detection holds significant application value in environmental monitoring, industrial safety, and health assessment. This study presents the first report on assembly of carbon quantum dots (CQDs) surface hollow hexagonal Co(OH)F for efficient acetone detection. The fabricated sensor exhibits ability to detect at a low concentration 200 ppb 120 °C, demonstrating excellent moisture resistance long-term stability. incorporation CQDs not only reduces operating temperature but also enhances gas-sensing performance Co(OH)F, offering simple eco-friendly strategy optimizing sensors. We systematically analyzed synergistic effect between their role functional groups combine with surface, improving electron transfer efficiency potentially lowering activation energy molecule reactions through catalytic effects, enabling low-temperature modification chemistry by strengthens recognition capability. coupling metal hydroxyl fluoride plays crucial multiple mechanisms, providing an innovative approach development high-performance
