Developing
a
clean
and
efficient
noble
metal
free
electrocatalyst
for
oxygen
evolution
reaction
(OER)
is
urgently
needed
to
accelerate
water
splitting
green
energy
conversion
systems.
Herein,
we
reported
the
fabrication
of
metal-free
based
on
Zn
Co
loaded
porous
C
decorated
cellulose
acetate-polyaniline
(ZnCo-C/CA-PANI)
electrospun
nanofibers
at
surface
nickel
foam
(NF).
The
smooth
coating
CA-PANI
NF
helps
in
exposing
maximum
fraction
ZnCo-C
uniform
flow
ions
entire
surface,
thus
resulting
high
OH–
adsorption
capability.
designed
ZnCo-C/CA-PANI@NF
electrode
acts
as
an
alkaline
medium
offers
lower
onset
potential
(1.34
V
vs
RHE),
small
Tafel
slope
42
mV/dec,
stability.
These
results
suggest
concept
exploring
more
such
hybrid
materials
that
could
induce
electrocatalytic
sustainable
conversion.

Abstract
Oxygen
reduction
reaction
(ORR)
is
the
core
of
fuel
cell/metal–air
battery
at
cathode,
and
it
great
significance
to
develop
high‐performance
ORR
catalyst.
Generally
speaking,
catalysts
are
classified
according
class
materials
they
use,
which
often
makes
difficult
for
different
types
have
a
clear
connection
with
some
unified
optimization
mechanism
creates
difficulties
in
designing
improvement
strategies.
Here,
this
review
proposes
three
major
strategies
that
can
affect
activity
catalysts:
morphology,
defect
control,
heteroatom
doping.
The
content
analyze
principles
various
performance
individually
or
synergistically
micro
level.
In
addition,
problems
challenges
still
faced
design
sorted
out,
possible
solutions
proposed.
This
research
direction
clearer,
provides
theoretical
support
new
ideas
high‐efficiency
electrocatalysts.

Polyoxometalate
(POM)
based
binary
and
ternary
hybrids,
including
the
combination
of
POMs,
semiconductors,
nanostructured
carbon
(carbon
nanotube
(CNT),
graphene,
dots
et
al.)
metal
nanoparticles
(MNPs),
are
key
materials
in
photoelectrocatalysis.
POM
play
a
role
constructing
nanohybrids
contributing
to
their
photoelectrochemical
catalytic
properties.
These
composites
combine
properties
from
two
or
three
functional
nanoscale
materials,
resulting
wider
range
applications,
catalysis,
energy
conversion
storage,
molecular
sensors
electronics.
Herein,
we
summarize
latest
progress
(POM/Metal,
POM/semiconductor
POM/nanocarbon)
(Metal/POM/nanocarbon)
with
focus
on
for
photocatalysis,
fuel
cells,
biosensors
devices.
Current
applications
critically
assessed
promising
future
target
systems
