In this chapter, we review the contributions of past research on tourists' knowledge, perceptions, and behaviours towards invasive non-native species (INNS) globally. Although is an underrepresented topic in invasion science field, highlight its importance for improving scientific understanding, policy, management. particular, a better understanding knowledge perceptions can help with well-targeted education awareness campaigns to mitigate their role introduction spread INNS as well develop strategies mobilize tourists contribute control invasions sites they visit. For example, enhancing engagement could also provide extra revenues manage at popular touristic sites, illustrated by numerous willingness-to-pay studies. Abstract With increasing attention to climate change and biodiversity loss, conservation social science research on land management practices is burgeoning. Researchers have broadened their focus from protected areas diverse types of support mitigation. But, developing effective strategies for these issues requires an in‐depth understanding both the socio‐psychological factors that guide landholders' decision‐making global trends in literature. To assess status behavior research, we systematically reviewed published between 2010 2020 five seminal journals. Of 11,607 articles reviewed, identified 100 about behavior. We assessed theoretical groundings, measurement methodology, land‐use terminology practices, ecosystem type, geographic distribution. strengths significant gaps weaknesses across research. For example, 52% made no meaningful connection theory, only 14% papers used observed behavioral data, 86% studies uses non‐experimental methods researchers disproportionately measured developed nations (66%). also find language describe very heterogeneous, making it difficult summarize using traditional systematic review methods. Conducting a limited can help identify disciplines might otherwise missed. Results our future development evidence‐based policies mitigate loss.

The study of super-gentrification has important practical significance for maintaining social fairness, spatial justice and achieving sustainable urban development. In this article, 23 driving factors influencing are identified by literature research Delphi method. Then, the affecting divided into four dimensions: political, economic, dimension. On basis, hypotheses proposed a structural equation model is established. SPSS 25.0 AMOS 24.0 software used to test reliability validity questionnaire data, results fitted modified. Finally, optimization path coefficient calculated. show that political factors, economic all play positive role in development super-gentrification. Birds in agricultural environments have exhibited steep global population declines recent decades, and effective conservation strategies targeting their populations are urgently needed. In grasslands used for hay production, breeding birds’ nest success improves substantially if harvests delayed until after mid-July. However, few studies investigated private producers’ willingness to alter harvesting practices, which is a critical factor bird where most land privately owned, such as the North American Great Plains. We surveyed Nebraska producers examine whether livestock wildlife knowledge, hunting activity affects haying practices conservation. The majority (60%) of respondents expressed delay allow birds time successfully. Livestock those more knowledgeable about were willing harvests, whereas active hunters less do so. Our findings suggest that show high potential engaging grassland activities. Landowners’ participate programs actions could be further encouraged through extension education efforts connecting with information, support, funding

Pasture and grazing land in the southern central Great Plains is being invaded by woody species, especially eastern redcedar. As a result of plant encroachment, cattle production on native rangeland becoming less profitable because stocking rates must be decreased. Eastern redcedar encroachment can controlled management, herbicide use, prescribed fire, mechanical control mixed species grazing. This study utilizes traditional management practices, fire three types operations to determine most economically feasible way manage rangeland. The cost-benefit analysis this found that source with highest net present value was use breeding goat operation which goats were grazed alongside fire. suggests producers who are fighting will likely able implement better their increase returns.

The integrity of the natural habitat benefits harmonious coexistence nature and humans. However, a negative anthropogenic impact on habitats exacerbates ongoing decline global biodiversity, further undermining ecosystem services for human well-being, making it difficult to reach UN sustainability development goals (SDGs). Understanding people’s willingness engage in conservation is essential provide realistic recommendation coordination building environmentally sustainable rural communities. We conducted social field interviews communities evaluated how external factors, individuals’ perceptions, attitudes impacted villagers’ conserve by using structural equation modeling analysis method.
