As the whisky industry applies circular economy principles to maximize resource utilization and minimize environmental impact, companies become exposed several risks, which require complex assessments ensure reliable outcomes. This study provides an organized framework identify, prioritize, rank various risk factors commonly observed in through development of analytical hierarchy process (AHP) multi-criteria analysis model. Experts from 18 small European distilleries identified five main criteria nineteen sub-criteria brainstorming workplace observations categorized them as: (5), operational (4), technological innovation (3), food safety economical (4) risks. The approach was used determine weights ranks based on survey responses received experts each distillery. final judgements are consistent, as indicated by consistency values (CR) less than 0.1 for all criteria. Unlike traditional assessment methods, AHP model effectively integrates qualitative quantitative data, aiding strategic decision making breaking down problems into manageable sub-problems. Future research directions may expand explore additional sustainable practices.
