Understanding how external water affects the quality of target bodies is an important prerequisite for predicting changes and formulating pollutant reduction plans. Using EFDC modeling system platform, this study constructed hydrodynamic dispersion diffusion models Zhangze Reservoir, by using hydrology data from 2013 to 2018, examines different responses Reservoir under inflow control scenarios. The results show that simulated value hydrological station basically consistent with measured station. Under current Class III requirements direct effluent wastewater treatment plant main urban area into reservoir will have a significant impact on quality. When purified through wetlands, it significantly improves reservoir, but concentration TN TP still cannot reach standard in short term,. all rivers entering meet does not enter content COD, ammonia nitrogen standard, reducing requirement be difficult within 3 years.

There is a growing need for more sustainable wastewater treatment technologies to provide non-conventional water sources. Constructed Wetland systems (CW) are viewed as low-cost technology with proven efficiency. This study aimed to investigate the presence and persistence of antibiotics in wastewater four typical pharmaceutical manufactories China receiving water bodies suggest removal by treatment process. It also evaluated environmental impact antibiotic residues through discharge into bodies. The results indicated that thirteen were detected samples with concentrations ranging from 57.03 726.79 ng/L. Fluoroquinolones macrolides most abundant classes found samples, accounting for 42.5% 38.7% total concentrations, respectively, followed sulfonamides (16.4%) tetracyclines (2.4%). Erythromycin-H 2 O, lincomycin, ofloxacin, trimethoprim frequently antibiotics; among these antibiotics, concentration ofloxacin was highest samples. No significant difference different processes used remove More than 50% not completely removed a efficiency less 70%. an order magnitude lower sample due dilution. An risk assessment showed lincomycin could pose high at effluents medium their bodies, highlighting potential hazard health aquatic ecosystem. Overall, investigation determine monitor selected 4 PMFs substances PMFs. will provide data findings future studies on antibiotics-related pollution control management

Scenedesmus almeriensis microalgae–bacteria consortia were evaluated for the removal of a mixture tetracycline (TET), ciprofloxacin (CIP), and sulfadiazine (SDZ) from real liquid fraction pig slurry in pilot scale photobioreactor. After 15 days operation, reactor was spiked with 100μg/L each antibiotic. The experiment ran 20 additional days. From phase, antibiotic 77 ± 5 %, 90 14 60 27 % TET, CIP, SDZ, respectively. antibiotics found solid phase 979 382 ng/g TET 192 69 SDZ; CIP not detected biomass. parameters analyzed before after addition showed that did have negative effect on efficiencies 64.6 0.6 TOC, 56.9 IC, 63.9 TN, 88.6 0.9 N-NH4+, 64.9 N-NO3−, 30.1 0.3 P-PO43−. This study demonstrated good performance microalgae-based technology swine manure wastewater treatment, only terms organic matter nutrient removal, but also regarding antibiotics. mass balance analysis entire process is presented.
