When dyes are discharged in water bodies, mutagenic, carcinogenic and teratogenic effects may be caused both aquatic organisms human beings. The use of biochar the implementation advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) alternative treatments that have been used individually removal wastewater. Besides being effective acting separately, AOPs can coupled, exhibiting synergetic treatment contained water. This work deals with methods implemented to produce from biomass, its mechanism associated sustainability issues. Additionally, main utilized for covered, as well biochar-AOP combined processes. future prospects also addressed. coupling has proven more mineralization than individual treatments. In this regard considering scarce studies field, new horizons opened on polluted dyes.

The massive consumption of a wide range plastic products has generated huge amount waste. There is need to provide awareness their uses and routine management as part our lifestyle. Nowadays, plastics are increasingly being used in daily life activities, including the packaging different food brewing companies, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, other production sectors pack end for efficient safer product's delivery community. Plastics produced through biochemical process polymerization or polycondensation. post-use waste many adverse impacts on environment if not processed managed proper way. This review aims discuss lifecycle according categories, polyvinyl chloride (PVC–U), polystyrene styrofoam (PS), polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), terephthalate (PETE), others. Herein, we have also discussed problems caused by inadequate processing possible solutions that can be provided ensure good atmosphere reduce causes climate changes, which challenging this planet.

The scarcity of clean water resources combined with other environmental and anthropogenic effects have urged the development advanced technology for wastewater treatment. Adsorption attracts great attention as a cost-effective technique remediation contaminated water. Despite broad variety adsorbents existing in literature, agriculture waste-derived biosorbents appear to hold greatest promise adsorption emerging contaminants. Herein, this review introduces recent developments field. role green chemistry principle their contribution towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are discussed. Different types modifications including activation modification magnetic, non-magnetic nanoparticles polymers systematically reviewed. Besides, application modified heavy metals, dyes, PAHs oils along respective mechanisms analyzed. Apart from this, potential practical is canvassed through introducing simultaneous pollutants, usage real industrial matrix reusability performance. Finally, recommendations future studies presented. This anticipated critically explore economical candidates pollutants.
