Abstract Climate change and land use caused by human activities have a profound impact on ecological security. Simulating the spatio-temporal changes in ecosystem service value security patterns under different carbon emission scenarios future is of great significance for formulating sustainable development policies. This study quantified four major services (habitat quality, water retention, soil erosion, storage) Northeast China (NC), identified source areas, constructed stable pattern. The results show that spatial storage, habitat NC, are relatively next 30 years, there no significant difference from current pattern distribution. SSP1–2.6 scenario priority model NC years. In this scenario, has largest resources (191,177 km 2 ) least comprehensive resistance (850.006 × 10 −4 ). At same time, relative corridor smallest, area mandatory reserve pinch points least. corridors form network distribution among sources, connecting several large sources as whole. fills knowledge gap building background global change, provides scientific basis decision-making regional resource management.

Land use change has significant impacts on the regional and global environment; thus, in-depth research associated ecological risks is necessary for promoting restoration sustainable development. Xinjiang, China, characterized by a fragile environment, this study aimed to predict land in region 2030 under different scenarios, including natural development, conservation, urban using PLUS model based data from 2000, 2010, 2020. Based landscape structure of ecosystems, we developed comprehensive risk assessment framework utilizing combination disturbance index, vulnerability loss index. This allowed us evaluate spatiotemporal patterns variations scenarios 2030. The results indicate following: (1) During period 2000 2020, primary type Xinjiang was unused land. However, changes were observed area cultivated land, mainly due conversion grassland construction expansion during urbanization process resulted decline landscapes, such as grassland, thereby weakening ecosystem’s stability. (2) Under simulation development scenario primarily led into which beneficial economic On other hand, conservation modest increase transformation forest aligns with principles (3) Different result varying degrees each spatial distribution characteristics remaining similar those Notably, scenario, lowest medium areas decreases significantly while higher highest increases substantially. Conversely, experiences more increase. (4) Overall, differences Xinjiang’s are significant, HH LL clustering types predominating presenting polarization pattern. pattern low north high central southern parts area.
