The ecological impacts of mining and the instability slopes are key factors restricting safe, efficient, low-carbon production open-pit mines. This study focused on ultimate pit limit (UPL) optimization under concept sustainability by integrating consideration economic benefit, impact, slope geometry. integrated UPL model based floating cone method was proposed establishing a quantitative for arising from coal in arid or semi-arid weak land cost calculation reinforcement Monte Carlo method. case revealed that steepening angle given regions resulted random variations quantity ore rock morphology. There an average profit rise USD 9.54M with every 1° increase angle, but probability grows exponentially.
