The synergistic convergence of digital and green finance (DGF) serves as a critical role for advancing ecological modernization in urban systems carbon reduction performance (PCRP). Based on the symbiotic co-evolution (DF) (GF), this study explored developmental evolutionary patterns, spatial effects, influence mechanisms DGF PCRP Chinese cities. findings include following: (1) Between 2011 2022, levels both increased were generally higher eastern coastal cities than less developed western (2) temporal associations showed positive intensifying relationship during period, with most showing correlation. (3) Spatial correlation was clearly positive, characterized by clear trend expansion concentration High-high aggregates an overall banded distribution all types aggregates. clusters mainly concentrated inland major cities; notably, Low-low mostly distributed around clusters, relatively stable distribution. (4) In terms spillover not only contributed directly to but also indirectly advanced it through improving ESG performance, promoting technology innovation increasing public concern environment. addition, effect more pronounced parts non-resource This provides theoretical empirical support deepening promote at city level.

Extensive research has discussed digital inclusive finance's (DIF) rapid growth in financial services and its vital economic role; however, limited addresses potential to mitigate micro, small- medium-sized enterprise (MSME) financing constraints generate environmental benefits. This study empirically investigates the effects of DIF on Chinese MSMEs' performance using a substantial manufacturer sample. The findings indicate that significantly reduces wastewater discharge intensity MSMEs. Furthermore, more pronounced effect non-state-owned firms, SMEs, firms areas with significant emission reduction pressure, those eastern region. Further mechanism analysis reveals can ease Moreover, strengthening terminal treatment, optimizing energy consumption structure, increasing investment development are pathways through which affects corporate performance. Finally, this proposes some policy implications promote green transformation

The digitalization of finance drives economic development and plays a crucial role in energy conservation carbon emission reduction. Utilizing emissions data from 2011 to 2020, we find that digital can mitigate intensity (CEI) by approximately 0.14 %. Then, employ diverse set robustness endogeneity tests assess the reliability empirical findings. Moreover, study delves into how impacts CEI through production technology innovation (PTI) green (GTI). results indicate positive effect PTI on CEI. GTI exerts negative influence In addition, there is chain mediation between baseline path. Finally, impact exhibits apparent regional heterogeneity.
