Improving the residents’ health is an important strategy for addressing declining population dividend in China under new development paradigm. Based on panel data of 290 prefecture-level cities from 2010 to 2021, this paper uses environmental tax as a quasi-natural experiment, and adopts DID model explore impact market-based regulation health. The results show that implementation can significantly reduce mortality rate, indicating enhancement outcomes. With the continuous acceleration of urbanization, air pollution has become an increasingly serious threat to public health. Strengthening detection and control pollutants a focal point in current society. In light increasing amount literature field with every passing year, numerous reviews have been compiled; however, only limited number employ bibliometric methods comprehensively review summarize research trends this field. Herein, study utilizes two analysis tools, namely, CiteSpace (6.1.R6) VOSviewer (1.6.20), conduct visual comprehensive spanning 2000 2023. By doing so, it establishes knowledge framework for on control.
