This paper presents an integrated approach based on physical–mathematical models and numerical simulations to optimize sludge treatment using ultrasound. The main objective is improve the efficiency of purification system by reducing weight moisture sludge, therefore ensuring regulatory compliance environmental sustainability. A coupled temperature–humidity model, formulated partial differential equations, describes materials’ thermal water evolution during treatment. resolution, implemented finite element method (FEM), allows simulation behavior optimization operating parameters. Experimental results confirm that ultrasonic reduces content up 20% improves its stability, making it suitable for agricultural applications or further Functional controls sonication reduction in correlate with obtained results. Ultrasound has been shown decrease specific sample both pretreatment treatment, improving stabilization. In various experimental conditions, reduced a maximum about 50%. Processed transforms waste into resource sector. Treatment processes have optimized low-energy principles. Additionally, besides utilizing energy-harvesting technology, plant optimized, accounting approximately 55% consumption due aeration active sludge. addition, extended analysis wave propagation proposed.

Abstract This research aimed to examine the compound effects of polyacrylamide (PAM) and cadmium (Cd) on plant growth subsequent mixing municipal sludge with soil explore potential ecological risks associated use sludge. A pot experiment was performed wherein four gradients (0, 5, 15, 20 g/[kg dry sludge]) were established corresponding different PAM concentrations assess physiological biochemical parameters Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis Makino Cd in soil. The findings indicated that biomass both plants increased when total concentration ranged from 5 g 15 g/(kg sludge). Concurrently, downplayed uptake by plants, reduced phytotoxicity, activities antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD) peroxidase (POD) roots. However, decreased significantly exceeded sludge), toxic effect pants enhanced some extent. Especially apparent cell damage observed root cells. It further noted portrayed a higher tolerance towards proportions compared . Sludge holds wider scale applicability landscaping than agriculture. fusion could potentially counteract within specific range, serving defense mechanism against stress. data obtained this study are crucial for unraveling anti‐stress responses detoxification mechanisms employed species under influence factors PAM, Cd, others, thus providing novel insights into related land involving sludges.
