Due to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) being designed at both national and globally applicable level, it is challenging adequately reflect local context characteristics in different urban regions without fully utilizing big earth data. To effectively address this issue, study localized 73 indicators for 13 SDGs assessed forecasted sustainability across 18 cities Hainan (2010-2030) using Our analysis specifically focused on indicator score, goal SDG index, spatial spillover effect, trade-offs synergies. The results indicated an overall upward trend sustainable development province, predicting achievement of by 2030. index showed a pattern 'high north south, low middle'. While synergies outweighed trade-offs, increased faster pace. More specifically, average from 29.85 2010–60.09 2018, with projected score 89.76 During 2010–2018, synergy-to-trade-off ratio declined 3.91–1.84, driven trade-off growth rate 2.03 times higher than synergy. work provides valuable case method, data support monitoring global level.
