Rural tourism is a new driving force for achieving rural revitalization and development, promoting economic prosperity, serving as industrial approach to the transformation upgrading of farmers’ livelihoods. This paper focuses on Manas County research subject employs farmer questionnaire interviews participatory appraisal methods categorize villages into four types: “scenic area-dependent” villages, “industry-dependent” “folklore-dependent” “suburban-dependent” villages.
