In this study, we bridge a crucial gap in the literature by investigating interplay between environmental regulations, technological innovations, and renewable energy adoption their impact on sector-specific performance textile fashion industry. Leveraging time series data from 1995 Q1 to 2022 Q4 using autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) Granger causality techniques, research is built upon Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis regulatory push innovation unravel these complex interactions. Our findings demonstrate that rigorous regulations taxes are pivotal enhancing outcomes across various industry sectors, leading significant reductions greenhouse gas emissions particulate matter. However, total leather feather production (LFP) (FP) sectors highly responsive policy regulations. Although advancements development (R&D) initially increase ecological footprints due high upfront costs, they indispensable for achieving long-term improvements reshaping landscapes. The of sources, meanwhile, delivers immediate substantial carbon emissions, highlighting critical role advancing sustainability. advocate leveraging as drivers sustainability, urging policymakers implement incentives progress adoption. implications both stakeholders policymakers. By positioning catalysts advancement, emphasize importance proactive, integrated approach Despite study’s regional focus, which may limit generalizability, future should include longitudinal comparative analyses varied regions emerging technologies refine strategies superior performance.

Purpose This study investigates the impact of e-commerce on high-quality agricultural development (HQAD) in China. As sector transitions towards higher quality production digital era, understanding influence pathways and mechanisms becomes crucial. We aim to quantify this through a hierarchical approach. Methods Utilizing provincial panel data from 2000 2021, we construct comprehensive HQAD evaluation system using entropy method. Parallel mediating effect models are employed empirically assess multi-level effects HQAD. Results Benchmark regression analyzes reveal significant positive HQAD, indicating its role as key driver China’s advancement. Mechanism tests identify several intermediary which indirectly promotes including market expansion, value chain optimization, enhanced social services, improved infrastructure. Notably, expansion optimization demonstrate most substantial mediation effects, accounting for 43.27 14.18% total effect, respectively. Discussion research contributes literature by establishing framework, providing theoretical foundation future studies. By incorporating circulation factors into system, elucidate complex production, addressing gap. Furthermore, propose novel “demand-driven supply optimization” paradigm, offering valuable insights policy formulation aimed at fostering
