Achieving
environmental
sustainability
has
become
an
urgent
priority
in
the
era
of
rapid
digital
economic
expansion,
which
presents
both
opportunities
and
challenges
for
sustainable
development.
This
study
investigates
impact
economy
(DIE)
on
(ENS)
through
dual
dimensions
industrialization
(DII)
industrial
digitalization
(IND),
employing
wavelet-based
quantile-on-quantile
regression
method
to
capture
quantile
dependencies
temporal
variations.
The
results
reveal
that
DIE
positively
impacts
ENS
long
term,
while
its
short-term
effects
are
mixed,
with
positive
at
lower
higher
quantiles
but
negative
mid-range
[0.35–0.45]
[0.65–0.7].
Specifically,
DII
exerts
a
predominantly
effect
due
costs
infrastructure
turns
term
as
matures,
especially
[0.85–0.95].
IND,
conversely,
consistently
short-
long-term
scenarios,
highlighting
role
enhancing
efficiency
reducing
emissions.
These
emphasize
need
targeted
policies,
including
prioritizing
digitalization,
