Abstract Background Climate change is seriously affecting human survival and development, the anxiety caused by it becoming increasingly prominent. How to alleviate people’s climate anxiety, improve ecological environment, promote formation of green lifestyles among people, especially young an important topic that deserves be explored. This study examined relationship between pro-environmental behaviors underlying psychological mechanism in adolescents. Methods explored crucial role future self-continuity (FSC) (CCA) (PEB) adolescents moderating self-efficacy (GSE). In this study, a total 1,851 middle high school students from five schools were selected for questionnaire survey. Results The results showed (1) both grades, there was significant negative correlation behaviors; significantly positively correlated with negatively (2) predicted behaviors, compared grade adolescents’ behaviors. Employing an exploratory sequential mixed‐methods approach that integrates both qualitative quantitative techniques, initially conducted 20 in‐depth interviews to gain insights into interplay change‐related factors, trust, consumer behaviors, which helped formulate research framework. Subsequently, was utilized, gathering 681 online surveys from Vietnamese Italian consumers, data assessed through structural equation modeling using SmartPLS software. is first reveal crucial theoretical how anxiety affected by risk perception knowledge, impact behaviors: quality environment, generations. Introduction Climate change represents one of the most pressing challenges confronting contemporary societies. Despite occupying a relatively small proportion Earth’s surface, cities contribute disproportionately to greenhouse gas emissions. Urban forests, as vital form natural infrastructure, play critical role in mitigating adverse impacts climate change. Effective management and conservation these resources necessitate active engagement from diverse stakeholder groups, with women being particularly important demographic. However, generational differences women’s perceptions their willingness participate urban forest have received limited investigation. This study seeks address this gap by comparing participation intentions two groups women: those belonging Generation Z earlier generations. Methods The sample comprised 401 395 other Data for were collected using questionnaire administered through multi-stage cluster sampling method. data encompassed participants’ awareness change, its causes, dual engage management, demographic characteristics such age, educational level, family size, income, highest education family, levels fathers mothers. analysis was conducted both descriptive inferential statistical methods. Results results revealed significant understanding recognizing forests effects, demonstrating conservation. Across all measures, exhibited higher compared older Furthermore, increased issues positively associated greater management. Socio-economic factors also influenced differently between highlighting nuanced effects variables on intentions. Discussion showed althought observed consistently led heightened among These findings underscore importance adopting intergenerational perspectives emphasizing that promotional programs must be tailored account effectively maximize foster widespread efforts.

ABSTRACT Introduction Existing literature has highlighted the relevance of Pro‐environmental behaviors (PEBs)—actions intended to benefit environment—to Eudaimonic well‐being (EWB, i.e., meaning in life and connectedness others). However, most research focused on stable individual differences utilized cross‐sectional designs, giving limited attention momentary fluctuations PEBs within individuals. This study aimed investigate daily impact EWB from a causal perspective, examining whether manipulating would result higher levels those days. Method We adopted Within‐Person Encouragement Design, an experimental approach employing instrumental variable estimation, Dynamic Structural Equation Modeling framework. Participants were 63 Italian young adults assessed over 21 days who received 11 randomized encouragements (i.e., “Today we ask you implement more pro‐environmental actions than normally enact typical day”). Results A significant positive adherence effect encouragement PEB, treatment PEB was found. Conclusion These findings are promising for advancing successful behavioral interventions designed encourage younger generations highlight importance experiencing meaningful enhanced with others.
