This study examines influence diverse modalities on employee satisfaction performance within an intelligent building. In building, three primary modes are used: daylighting, constant illuminance, power lighting. A survey was conducted with objective assessing perceptions conditions held by findings suggest that majority respondents expressed overall quality, particularly when natural light integrated artificial However, it notable there were variations in levels, which serves illustrate importance developing solutions tailored specific needs preferences. indicate optimal lighting, characterized appropriate illuminance color temperature, glare control, can positively impact mood, concentration, job satisfaction.

Urbanisation and densification of the built environment is an important feature future sustainable environment, which importantly influences window view quality. This survey addresses a research gap on unfavourable reactions to views in dense urban environments, where distance between buildings enables only neighbouring façade, also question architectural visual elements specifically trigger them. The typical variables studied are various degrees maintenance, compositional quality, surface activity dynamics, complexity. quantitative data, such as general observers views, reasons for reactions, assessment specific features, were collected by means close-ended questionnaire. targeted population was predominantly work-active population, performing sedentary/office work at least part working day. analyses results performed using descriptive statistics encompass overall similar correlations gender, age, preferences. An finding that gender way respondents spend their workday do not significantly affect response motifs view. further shows it very difficult incite retain enough interest with standard approaches subdued design.
