Background and Objectives: Early childhood development (ECD) significantly influences long-term academic social outcomes. Family planning (FP) can affect ECD by altering family dynamics resource allocation. We aimed to investigate the association between unmet need for (UMNFP) early (ECD), as well child care practices in Türkiye. Materials Methods: included mothers with children under 5 years from "2018 Turkey Demographic Health Surveys" (TDHS). Dependent variables index, practices. Independent FP needs, child-family characteristics. The study applied complex sample analysis. Results: UMNFP was not associated poorer practices; however, availability of multiple types toys or books presence UMNFP. Children families had engaged a smaller number activities compared their peers. However, on developmental assessments, these did perform differently than comparison group. Factors such maternal education socioeconomic status also moderated effects, highlighting interplay ECD. Conclusions: is adverse but related inversely some educational engagement Türkiye, though no direct relationship outcomes identified. Expanding access services addressing disparities have potential improve practices, thereby contributing more equitable nationwide.
