Background: Medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) use in the folk medicine is widely spread Morocco. This work aims to study their Ain Chkef; a rural area North central It also documents multiples data concerning ethno-medico-botanical traits of most cited species. Methods: An ethnobotanical survey was carried out through interview 183 individuals. The responses were analyzed using several plant citation indexes (RFC; FIV; PPV FL). Correlations between humans different ages, genders, educational levels, marital status, investigated by multiple components analysis (MCA) performed XLSTAT software. Results: 93.44% studied population MAPs. Among 48 used species, belonging 27 botanical families, frequently Origanum compactum Benth. Chenopodium ambrosioides L, Cuminum cyminum L., Mentha pulegium L. Leaves dominant part used. infusion decoction principal preparation methods. MCA showed that people not or low MAPs (< 3) are sharing common traits: Male, married, high level, < 40 years aged. People highly (> 7) moderately (4 mainly: Female, with >40 Conclusion: present highlighted among interviewed Chkef as traditional remedies. Thus, this will provide researchers an important database which can be exploited development pharmacognosy. Keywords: Ethnobotanical study; medicinal plants; Plant indexes; component analysis.

Objective This study aims to evaluate the phytochemical composition, antioxidant, and antihyperglycemic (in vivo, in vitro, silico) activities acute toxicity of Crataegus monogyna Jacq ( C monogyna) aqueous extracts. Methods The analyzed extract through various methods such as screening, high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet (HPLC-UV)-visible analysis. was also tested for antioxidant potential, toxicity, effect, inhibitory effect on pancreatic α-amylase enzyme. Additionally, used molecular docking approach identify most potent ligands extract. Results screening showed presence flavonoids, tannins, coumarins, sterol, triterpene. rich total polyphenols (1.65 ± 0.04 mg gallic acid equivalent per gram [GAE/g] DM), flavonoids (0.33 0.03 EQ/g condensed tannins (0.28 0.01 EC/mg DM). HPLC-UV-visible analysis identified 9 phenolic compounds, with high levels caffeic acid. has a activity an IC 50 9.23 mg/mL by DPPH 8.32 0.02 FRAP. not toxic albino mice. glucose tolerance test significant 0.070 0.008 inhibition monogyna. vivo enzyme confirmed.
